Decorah resident is being recognized for her volunteer work

Decorah and Harlan resident Tova Brandt is receiving a Governor's Volunteer Award.
Brandt was nominated for an individual award by Jessica Rundlett for her service to the State Historical Society of Iowa, for which Brandt currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees.
She will receive the award from Governor Kim Reynolds at a ceremony Tuesday, June 29th at 3:30 p.m. at Southeast Polk High School in Pleasant Hill.
The Governor's Volunteer Award program recognizes people who volunteer their time and talent to help fulfill the missions of Iowa nonprofits, charitable organizations, and government entities. More information is available at
