20 new trees are planted at the Decorah Fish Hatchery

Alliant Energy is commemorating 100 years of serving the Decorah area by planting trees at the Decorah Fish Hatchery.

Representatives from Alliant Energy, Trees Forever and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources planted about 20 shade trees on the Decorah Fish Hatchery grounds Thursday.

Alliant Energy and Trees Forever have planted more than a million trees throughout the state—including nearly 400 in Decorah.
