The Decorah Office of Iowa Workforce has been spared, but four other NE Iowa offices will be closing by the end of the month

Several IowaWORKS offices in Northeast Iowa will close by the end of June. Offices will no longer operate in New Hampton, Oelwein, Waukon, and West Union.

"These shifts aim to better align our IowaWORKS resources with needs and office traffic patterns across the state," said Iowa Workforce Development Director Beth Townsend.

The Oelwein office at the NICC Regional Academy for Math and Science Center Center will close Thursday, June 14th. The Waukon office at the NICC Waukon Center will close Monday, June 25th. The New Hampton office at New Hampton Economic Development's office will close Tuesday, June 26th and the West Union office at the West Union Chamber of Commerce will close Thursday, June 28th.
