A Decorah woman accused of engaging in sexual contact with an 18-year-old student in the Howard-Winneshiek School District has entered an innocent plea to a charge of sexual exploitation by a school employee.
29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander is accused of having sex on "numerous occasions" during the school year away from Crestwood High School.
A judge arraigned Ranweiler-Oblander on the charge Wednesday in Cresco, then scheduled a pretrial hearing June 11th and a trial on June 27th at 9:00 a.m.
Howard-Winneshiek Superintendent Ted Ihns says Ranweiler-Oblander has been put on administrative leave. She has been banned from the school grounds. She has also been forbidden to have contact with the student. Bail in the case has been set at $5,000.
