New RSVP Director has started working

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program in Decorah has a new Director. Deana Hageman succeeds Kathy Barloon, who retired recently after leading the program for 15 years.

A Northeast Iowa native, Hageman has devoted her professional career to serving the needs of diverse populations. She has advocated for youth and families in foster care and adoption, provided job coaching and placement for adults with disabilities, recruited and trained Hospice volunteers, and chaired an Emergency Preparedness Healthcare Coalition.
