Decorah mayor signs proclamation for "Wear Orange for National Gun Violence Awareness Weekend"

National Gun Violence Awareness Weekend is June 1st and 2nd in Decorah.

Thursday morning Decorah Mayor Lorraine Borowski signed a proclamation, sponsored by NEI Peace and Justice Center and Gun Sense Community Conversations, recognizing the weekend as part of a nationwide effort to honor the victims and survivors of gun violence, and to support legislation to reduce gun violence.
