Water and sewer rates to increase in Decorah

On Monday night, without further discussion on the third reading of the proposal to change City Ordinances 1219 and 1220 regarding water and sewer rates, the Decorah City Council voted to amend the rates.

Water rates will increase by 20 percent, with no adjustments to the usage scale.

Sewer rates will increase by 12 percent with no adjustments to the usage scale.

Increases will happen after official public notices.
