The 2018 Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards in Des Moines next month will definitely have a Decorah High School component.
Decorah HS will be one of 68 schools recognized at the June 4th event at the Des Moines Civic Center. A special video will be shown at the showcase highlighting Decorah HS's award for Outstanding Overall Technical and Creative Achievement for last November's production of "Shrek." Tickets to the showcase, which start at $15, will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at www.DMPA.org, the Civic Center Ticket Office, and by phone at 515-246-2300. The showcase also will be live-streamed at www.Iptv.org. IPTV will also air a highlights special of the evening later this summer.
