Kids from the Montessori School and Kinderhaus Wednesday morning helped to plant trees at the swimming pool park and at Vennehjem park.
Iowa DNR Forestry staffer Evan Miller was on hand to lead the program, as were Decorah Parks & Recreation Department staffers. They planted a total of 22 trees in the two locations--and a lot of kids had dirty hands.
