Decorah Municipal Band is looking for musicians

One of last year's concerts

While Decorah is split 50/50 on whether a municipal electric utility is a good idea, there's 100 percent support for a municipal band.

The Decorah Municipal Band will perform on June 5th and June 21st in front of the Winneshiek County Courthouse, starting at 7:00 p.m.

The band is currently accepting new members.  If you're interested, contact Jen Bliven at (712) 541-8923 or email decorahmunicipalband@gmail.com. Rehearsals for the concerts will be May 31st, June 4th, 18th, and 20th, all at 7:00 pm. The band is under the direction of Jim Fritz and Merlyn Finley.
