Howard County authorities are accusing a Decorah woman of engaging in sexual contact with an 18-year-old student in the Howard-Winneshiek School District.

29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander had charges filed against her Friday in Howard County District Court.  Investigators are accusing her of having sex on "numerous occasions" during the school year away from the high school.

Howard-Winneshiek Superintendent Ted Ihns says Ranweiler-Oblander has been put on administrative leave.  She has been banned from the school grounds.  She has also been forbidden to have contact with the student.

Bail in the case has been set at $5,000.  An initial court appearance has been scheduled for 11:30 May 14th in Cresco.
