Decorah High School senior is one of three recipients of a $100,000 scholarship from Gemini

Decorah High School senior Dawson Bauer has been named one of three recipients of a Ross Wagner Engineering Scholarship.  The scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Ross C. Wagner (1924-1992), the second Chairman of the Board of Directors at Gemini.  It provides financial aid to students seeking degrees at the country's top engineering schools.  The scholarships are for $100,000, paid over four years.

Bauer is the son of Fred and Suzi Bauer and will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study biomedical engineering.  Dawson has been an active volunteer throughout his high school career and intends to continue that in college.

The Ross Wagner Scholarships are granted to students intending to major in civil, aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, biomedical and chemical engineering as well as chemistry and physics. It is open to all students attending the local high school in cities where Gemini's manufacturing plants are located: Decorah, IA; Cannon Falls, MN; Farmville, VA; Taylor, TX; Fallon, NV; and Hanover, Ontario. It is also available to students attending the local high schools in Howard, SD and Randolph, MN, which are the hometowns of Gemini's founders.
