Volunteers from Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity are putting up walls and ceilings for Spectrum's Community Kitchen on Pearl Street in Decorah. The kitchen will aide local growers in processing food for sale and will also be used for classes and trainings.

The Spectrum Kitchen project by Habitat was a one day project, with Spectrum providing the materials.

Work will begin on Winneshiek County Habitat for Humanity's 2018 home in Ridgeway in mid-May. For more information on WCHfH, its programs and the Ridgeway home project, visit www.winneshiekhabitat.org or contact Gus Johnson at wchfh1@gmail.com or (563) 382-1802.
