Winneshiek Medical Center Auxiliary awards scholarships to local students

Eight local students pursuing health care professions are getting scholarships from the Winneshiek Medical Center Auxiliary.

NICC nursing student Katherine Belay, Creighton University physical therapy student Alexander Bishop, Allen College for Radiography student Kelsey Hageman, University of Wisconsin-Madison occupational therapy student Maria Mertzenich, NICC nursing student Madelyn Monroe, Chamberlain University nursing major Tiffany Smith, Luther College athletic training student Jada Vanden Brink and University of Iowa nursing major Michaela Wiltgen are all receiving scholarships.

Proceeds from the Auxiliary's bakeless bake sale, spring brunch and holiday bake sale went toward the 2018 scholarship fund.
