('Bluffton Bob' asks: "With all of the recent additional bridge closings, what is the status of repairing or replacing the bridge at Chimney Rock County Park on Chimney Rock Road?"):

Mr. Answer Person says: "We asked County Engineer Lee Bjerke your question.  He replied, 'BR# 347 (Next to Chimney Rock Park) has been in design and development since its closure.   There have been changes to the scope (we are now replacing the bridge and leaving the old bridge in place) due to cultural, environmental, and funding issues but the project is still moving forward.  The short answer to your question, the recent bridge closures have not impacted BR# 347.'"
