Luther College Dance Marathon raises over $67,000

The Luther College Dance Marathon Saturday in the Luther College Regents Center raised $67,539.22 to support families of pediatric patients at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.

Participants raise money all year long through various fundraisers, then cap off their effort with a 12-hour dance marathon where participants stand on their feet to symbolize the fight that children and families have to go through. "Miracle Families" (families that have benefited from Dance Marathon) also share their stories and reiterate the importance of fundraising for this cause.
