The Decorah Public Library is celebrating National Library Week starting on Monday, with a wide variety of programs for people of all ages.
The library will have "fine amnesty" all week long. Anyone with overdue library materials may simply bring overdue items to the front desk of the library, let a staff member know that they are overdue, and all fines for those items will be removed.
Events taking place during the week include a book discussion of Moriel Rothman-Zecher's "Sadness is a White Bird," Toddle Time and Yoga Storytime for kids, and a family-oriented juggling and unicycle show with two-time Guinness World Record holder Mark Hanson and his family.
Program details and an April calendar are available at www.decorah.lib.ia.us, on the DPL Facebook page, and at the library circulation desk.
