Castalia woman jailed in Fayette County--after visiting the jail

A Castalia woman went to visit the Fayette County Jail on Thursday--but later in the day wound up being booked into the jail.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Molly Shlegel of Castalia reported to the Sheriff's Office to bond out an inmate.  After conducting an investigation, sheriff's deputies arrested Shlegel and charged her with driving while license revoked (a serious misdemeanor) and fraudulent use of registration (a simple misdemeanor). Shlegel is now in custody at the Fayette County Jail, awaiting an initial appearance before a magistrate.
