Two new officers have been hired by the Decorah Police Department

Two new Decorah Police officers have been sworn in.

Logan Hopp is from New Hampton and recently graduated from Upper Iowa University.

David Burrett is from the Waukon area and has been an officer with the Waukon Police Department since 2013.

The two new officers were sworn into office by Decorah City Clerk Wanda Hemesath.
