Ossian man ticketed following accident

An Ossian man, 26-year-old Dalton Breitsprecher, was in a traffic accident on Sand Road around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office reports Breitsprecher was eastbound on Sand Road and slid through the intersection at 157th Street.  He then entered the southeast ditch.

No injuries were reported.  Breitsprecher was cited for failure to maintain control.  His truck suffered $6,000 in damages.
