Murder trial in Cresco set for August 8th

Decorah native Brian Fullhart will go on trial in August on first degree murder charges.

Fullhart appeared in Howard County District Court on Monday on two charges, First degree murder and going armed with intent to harm.  The charges were filed in connection with the death of his wife, 34-year-old Zoanne Fullhart of Decorah.

Judge Margaret Lingreen has scheduled a pretrial conference in the case for July 16th at 9:30 a.m.  She scheduled the actual trial for August 8th at 9:00 a.m.

Fullhart continues to be held in the Winneshiek County Jail on a $1 million bond.
