Construction to start Monday on new Viking State Bank Building

The main bank of Viking State Bank & Trust at 321 West Water Street will be closed on Monday and Tuesday as the bank prepares for the start of construction on a new building.

The downtown location will be back open for full-service banking on Wednesday.  Customers needing access to safe deposit boxes on Monday or Tuesday are being asked to contact Viking State Bank's branch location at 563-382-5538 for assistance.

Starting on Wednesday the entrance for the main bank offices will be located on the south side of the building, with the drive-up staying open.  

Throughout the construction, Viking State Bank & Trust will continue to serve customers downtown.
