NICC Business and Community Solutions division honored for its contract training programs

NICC's Business and Community Solutions division, which handles continuing education and workforce training at NICC, has received the 2018 Best Contract Training Sales Team Award from Learning Resources Network. The award highlights Business and Community Solutions' successful implementation of best practices and a consultative model that supports the local workforce, by partnering with industries to develop customized training programs that address their skilled employee needs.

"Our job as a College is about working closely with businesses to identify the right fit for each company's training needs. Whether a company's training needs are in hard skills, such as robotic welding or industrial maintenance, or soft skills like customer service and leadership, a customized, consultative approach makes a difference for our business partners and clients," said NICC vice president of business and community solutions Wendy Mihm-Herold.
