Decorah FFA is headed to the State Leadership Conference

Five Decorah FFA entries at the Northeast Iowa FFA District Convention in Waukon have received gold ratings and advanced to the State FFA Leadership Conference in Ames on April 22nd, 23rd and 24th. Two received gold ratings and were selected as alternates to state. Three additional entries received silver ratings.

The five events advancing to the state contest and receiving a gold rating include creed speaking: Tyler Irwin – 1st place, secretary's book: Jaden Anderson - 1st place, ag sales: Tye Anderson – 2nd place, chapter website: Daniel Schwartzhoff - 2nd place, and public speaking: Hailey Nierling – 2nd place.

Braeley Ehrie, Lily Hovey, and Bailey Miculinich, the chapter program of activities team, and the parliamentary procedure team of Brooke Courtney, Keagen Einck, David Johanningmeier, Elijah Mitchell, and Libby Rolfs received third place and were selected as alternates to the State FFA Leadership Conference.
