Another candidate will be on the ballot for Winneshiek County Recorder

The Deputy Recorder in the Winneshiek County Recorders Office. Jayne Schultz, has announced her candidacy for the County Recorder's position.  Current County Recorder Teresa Bockman, will be retiring this year.

Schultz says she will be running as an Independent for the office.  She has worked as deputy recorder for Winneshiek County for the past 15 years.   She is a Winneshiek County native whose family has lived here for four generations.

Schultz earned an Associate's Degree in business, then worked as an independent business owner, an office manager, and as deputy recorder at the Winneshiek County Recorders Office. 

Schultz will face Connie Askelson-Kuennen, who last month also announced her candidacy for the Recorder's position.
