Police make a drug bust

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says police officers served a warrant Tuesday at a home on River Street in Decorah Iowa.   Two people were taken into custody.  32-year-old Ashley Johnson of Decorah was charged with four counts of controlled substance violations (methamphetamine and scheduled prescription drug).  47-year-old Ricky Ohm of Fredericksburg was taken into custody for a felony arrest warrant for a controlled substance violation (methamphetamine) and for aggravated misdemeanor operating while under the influence 2nd offense/drug impaired.  Johnson and Ohm were both transported to the Winneshiek County Jail.  The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Decorah Police Department and the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office.

Also Tuesday, 28-year-old Amber Snow of Calmar was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear before a judge.  She was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.

Also on Tuesday, around 3:40 a.m., 17-year-old Ariana Rathbone of New Hampton lost control of her vehicle on Winneshiek County Rd B-16 and Big Timber Road in Sumner Township, entered the ditch, went into the air and landed in a cornfield. Rathbone and a passenger were transported by private vehicle to Mercy Medical Center.  Rathbone was ticketed for failure to maintain control.
