The Decorah High School Community Club's fundraiser Friday morning to help the Arneson family, who had two family members die in a traffic accident in February, was a huge success.

Decorah Community School District Culinary Specialist Chad Elliott volunteered to bake 100 loaves of bread to be sold, with proceeds going to the Arneson family.  The breads included baguettes, quinoa boules, sun-dried tomato ciabatta, pizza crusts, roasted garlic batard, and onion-poppy seed rolls.

All 100 loaves of freshly baked bread were sold in about an hour, raising almost $1,500 from bread sales alone, with other money coming in as contributions to the fund.
