County supervisors accept bid on new bridge west of Ridgeway

The Winneshiek County Board has approved a bid of $411,912.35 to replace Bridge #87 on County Highway A-46 west of Ridgeway. 

The project is part of a larger project to repave A-46 in Howard County from the bridge in Winneshiek county all the way to Highway 63 west of Schley.  Croell, Inc. of New Hampton is the apparent low bidder on the overall project with a bid of $3,867,081.31.  Howard County's share of the project will be $3,455,168.96.
