Decorah Quilts of Valor #541 has awarded quilts to 18 Winneshiek County veterans at the Ossian Senior Hospice, Arlin Falck Assisted Living and Wellington Place.

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.

The Quilts of Valor Foundation is a non-profit organization established and operated in accordance with Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.  Funding for these presentations was provided, in part, by The Depot Outlet.

Decorah Quilts of Valor looks forward to continuing this mission.  To nominate a veteran, you can contact Joni Johnson, P.O. Box 30, Decorah, IA 52101, with the veteran's name and a phone number.
