Load limits to go in effect Friday on some county roads

Winneshiek County will be placing weight restrictions on some county roads starting Friday due to the spring's effect on roadbeds. 

The embargo restrictions, where imposed, will limit traffic to vehicles weighing under seven tons per axle.  Winneshiek County crews will be posting signs Friday for  embargoes on portions of the hard surfaced system.  The embargoes are effective upon posting.
