Decorah's high temperature on Tuesday tied a record

The National Weather Service says Decorah reached a high of 55 degrees Tuesday afternoon. 

Decorah meteorologist Richard Bernatz tracks meteorological data over the past 122 years for which records have been kept.  His summary of February 27th highs and lows shows a high of 55 degrees in 1896, meaning Tuesday's high temperature tied a record that has been standing for 122 years.
