Monona firm will handle the repair of the Winneshiek County Courthouse roof

Winneshiek County supervisors have voted unanimously to hire Brenton Buildings of Monona to do repair work to the roof of the Courthouse this spring.

When three alternate projects were added to the bids, Brenton Buildings was the low bidder with a total bid of $207,740.  The work will include not just roof repair, but attic insulation, new lighting and lightning protection.

Work on the roof will begin April 25th and will be substantially completed by July 15th.
