Police release more details of tobacco enforcement drive

(Last Thursday, decorahnews.com posted a story about two Decorah businesses which did not pass a tobacco law compliance check.  A reader contacted us to ask why the two non-complaint businesses were identified, but not the six compliant businesses.  We contacted the Decorah Police Department and have been provided information for an updated story):

The Decorah Police Department is reporting the outcomes of its recent tobacco compliance checks.  Six businesses were compliant, while two were not.  Casey's on Old Stage Road, Fareway, Quillin's, Decorah Mart, Kwik Start and Walmart were found to be compliant.  Casey's on College Drive and Nordic Express were found to be noncompliant and were charged with Selling Tobacco to a Minor.
