Iowa DOT opens $2.2 million bid on repaving North Winn Road

Paving will begin this year on North Winn Road.

The Iowa DOT has opened four bids on the paving project, with Croell, Inc. of New Hampton the apparent low bidder.  Their bid of $2,214,814.96 was apparently the lowest of the four bids opened at DOT headquarters in Ames.  The project calls for repaving North Winn Road from US Highway 52 on the south to 357th Street on the north.

The $2.2 million bid by Croell has to be accepted by the Winneshiek County Board, with that vote expected one week from next Monday.
