Decorah musicians participate in Iowa Junior Honors Orchestra

Six Decorah orchestra students participated in the Iowa Junior Honors Orchestra Festival in Ames. The orchestra was comprised of one-hundred sixty students from across the state in grades seven through nine.

Decorah musicians included 9th graders Kaia Neal, Anja Madsen, Jenna Lundtvedt, and Luke Walter, and 8th grader Adrian Huang.

The festival's conductor was Dr. Justin Knoepfel from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.  He is a graduate of Luther College.
