Iowa Beef Expo recognizes several NE Iowans

The 2018 Iowa Beef Expo is underway at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines and already several Northeast Iowa residents are being recognized.
Julianna Wise, the 16-year-old daughter of Dick and Julie Wise of Decorah, was crowned the 2018 Iowa Simmental Queen Sunday evening at the Iowa Beef Expo Simmental Banquet .
Meanwhile, Postville residents Doug and Marilyn Lenth will have their business, Lenth Herefords, named Iowa Seedstock Producer of the Year for 2018 at a program at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the cattle barn at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
The Iowa Beef Expo runs through Saturday at the State Fairgrounds.
