Cresco woman receives three tickets following traffic accident

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office is providing details of a traffic accident last month.

26-year-old Christa Wilken of Cresco lost control of her car while driving on Highway 139 around 7:00 p.m. January 24th.  Wilken went into a dtich, came out of the ditch, reentered the ditch and struck a tree.  No injuries were reported.  Wilken left the scene of the accident.

Wilken was ticketed for failure to maintain control, failure to provide financial liability and driving while license was under suspension.
