Three people arrested on separate drunk driving charges

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says three people were arrested over the weekend on separate Operating While under the Influence charges.

Just after midnight Saturday, 44-year-old Eric Crapp of Waukon was stopped on County Road W46 near Ossian, arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on a charge of Operating While under the Influence.

Around 2:30 Saturday morning on Highway 52 near Ossian, 29-year-old Amanda Staake of Postville was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on a charge of Second Offense Operating While under the Influence, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Around 1:30 Sunday morning, 29-year-old Robert Franzen of Ossian was stopped on 185th Avene near Ossian, arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for operating while under the influence, eluding and interference with official acts.
