Furniture store says it will reopen, provide furniture to customers

A Decorah furniture store will reopen its doors this week, according to its new owner.

Matt Fechner says he has bought out his father's share of the business and will reopen Tuesday as "The New 6-Day Discount Furniture." 

Customers of the business had contacted the Decorah Police Department to complain that they wrote a check to order furniture and hadn't received the furniture or a refund.  Matt Fechner says he will be receiving five semi loads of furniture on Monday, including the items previously ordered by those four or five customers.

Doors to the business will open on Thursday, Fechner says.  The telephone at the business will be back in operation on Tuesday.
