Decorah to participate in Iowa's Living Roadways Community Visioning Program

Decorah has been chosen to participate in this year's Iowa's Living Roadways Community Visioning Program.  As a part of the program, Iowa State University is conducting a random sample survey to learn residents' opinions on how to improve Decorah's landscape through transportation enhancements.
 
The goal of the project is to develop a landscape plan that will graphically illustrate the vision of the community for possible improvements to public spaces and transportation infrastructure.  Input from residents is an important part of this process.  Ideas about community design and enhancement will be reviewed by a steering group comprised of 13 Decorah residents.
 
Survey packets will be mailed to randomly selected Decorah households this week. If you receive a packet, please take time to complete the questionnaire and mail it back using the enclosed postage-paid envelope. The questionnaire will take approximately 25 minutes to complete.
