Women's March is being planned for January 20th in Decorah

It was on January 21st of 2017 that 800 to 1,000 people gathered in front of the Winneshiek County Courthouse for the First Annual Women's March.

Now some of the same people who organized last year's event are organizing another Women's March on Saturday, January 20th.  Plans call for the group to meet at Mary Christopher Park in Decorah at 1:30 p.m.   The group will then march through downtown Decorah to the Winneshiek County Courthouse, where several speakers will give speeches lasting a total of half an hour.
