Accident causes $15,000 in damages

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says a Decorah man, 59-year-old Bernard Wetli, lost control of his truck while driving on an unimproved road, 226th Avenue on Monday afternoon.

Wetli was eastbound on 226th Avenue when his vehicle entered the left shoulder, lost traction, slid into the ditch and rolled onto the driver's side.  Wetli was not injured, but the accident caused an estimated $15,000 in damages.
