The first-ever "Winneshiek Idea House" program will be held March 24th at the Elks Lodge in Decorah. The program is a supportive, community-based version of the popular TV show "Shark Tank," so instead of facing five "sharks," entrepreneurs pitch ideas to community members in hopes they will "invest" loans or gifts of money, the use of a space or facility or other assets to support the idea.
If you are a budding entrepreneur in Winneshiek County looking for community support or an established entrepreneur wanting to take your business to the next level, entrepreneur applications are available now and are due January 15th.

Winneshiek Idea House is a project of Decorah Now, in collaboration with Winneshiek County Development, Inc. and America's SBDC Iowa at Northeast Iowa Community College.
