Committee assignments made for new Decorah City council members

Mayor-Elect Lorraine Borowski has made appointments to the various city council committees for 2018.

The city's Budget and Finance Committee will be chaired by Randy Schissel, the Economic Development Committee will be chaired by Dan Bellrichard and the Personnel Committee will be chaired by Kirk Johnson.  Andy Carlson will be the chair of the Water, Sewer, Public Lights and Utilities Committee, while Steve Luse will be the chair of the Public Safety Committee.

Newly-elected city council member Johanna Bergan will chair the Community Betterment Committee and will serve on the Budget and Finance Committee, Public Safety Committee and Water, Sewer, Public Lights and Utilities Committee.  Fellow newly-elected city council member Ross Hadley will chair the Streets, Alleys and Sidewalks Committee and will serve on the Community Betterment Committee, Public Safety Committee and Economic Development and Property Committee.
