Attendance at Holiday Lights is on pace to set a record this year

The Holiday Lights, Magical Nights display at the Decorah Campground could set an all-time attendance record this year.

With a week left to go in the display of holiday decorations, over 3,000 vehicles have already passed through.  That includes 317 cars last Saturday night, when a group of Decorah High School girls from the school's Community Club were determined to break the one-day record--and met their goal by welcoming 317 cars to the display.

The all-time attendance mark was 3,443 vehicles in 2014.  As of Monday night, this year's Holiday Lights had attracted 3,096 vehicles.

The last night of Holiday Lights is Christmas Day, December 25th.
