Ask Mr. Answer Person tackles some potholes

Duane e-mails, "I'm wondering if the City of Decorah could afford a little material to be placed in the bottomless pits on the curve by the McDonalds entrance on Centrum drive. They've been there forever... Surprised no one has collided from swerving to avoid them."

Mr. Answer Person says: "We first reached out to the City Street Department, which told us the street is a private street owned by Noddle Development, the developer of Centrum Plaza.  Noddle Companies representative Paul R. Dietsch replied to our e-mail, saying the company's property management team has sent someone to check it out.  That area is close to where three different properties, all maintained by separate owners, come together.  Dietsch promised, 'We will either get it taken care of ourselves, or alert the appropriate owner and get back to you with a further report.'"
