Chief Deputy Greg Torgrim is retiring after 31 years in law enforcement.

Torgrim began his law enforcement career with the Ossian Police Department and the Decorah Police Department. In 1990 he was hired as a deputy with the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office.  In 2002 he was appointed by Sheriff Leon Bohr to serve as his Chief Deputy.  When Sheriff Dan Marx took office in 2015, Greg was reappointed to Chief Deputy.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says, "Greg's knowledge, expertise and sense of humor will definitely be missed!"
