The Decorah Police Department reports two motor vehicle accidents

At 11:56 a.m. Tuesday, 68-year-old David Dobson of Decorah was north bound on Trout Run Road at the intersection of Highway 9. While attempting to make a left hand turn, Dobson entered the intersection on a green traffic signal. Meanwhile, 30-year-old Christopher Schnuelle of Postville was east bound on Highway 9 at the intersection of Trout Run Road. Schnuelle reports he was having a medical issue and was unable to respond to the red traffic signal. Schnuelle went through the red light and struck Dobson. Dobson's 1997 Ford Ranger sustained $1,200 in damages and Schnuelle's 2002 Chevrolet Impala sustained $3,500 in damages. No injuries were reported.

At 12:06 p.m. Tuesday, 56-year-old Kevin Musland of Elgin was navigating a left hand turn into the South Alley of Water Street from State Street driving a tractor with a semi-trailer. While turrning, Musland struck a 2011 Buick Enclave that was legally parked. No damage was reported to Musland's semi, but the Buick sustained $7,000 of damage. No injuries were reported.
