Rubaiyat fundraiser brings in $12,200 for Decorah Rotary Club

Each year Rubaiyat restaurant in Decorah holds a beer and wine sampling that includes hors d'oeuvres and a live auction.  The money raised from the evening is given to a local organization.

This year's recipient is the Decorah Rotary Club.  Rubaiyat owners Kim and Andy Bonnet say their fundraiser brought in $12,200.  The money will be used for a variety of Rotary Club programs, including the awarding of scholarships to four graduating seniors at Decorah High School.
