Decorah Chamber is celebrating "Hometown Holidays" beginning Thursday

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for a festive holiday season with retail promotions and a holiday open house this weekend.

The Countdown to Christmas retail promotion is currently underway and will continue through Christmas Day. When you shop at any of the 49 participating Decorah merchants, you will be eligible to win one of four gift baskets valued at $1,000. 1 entry form is available for every $25 spent with a 10 entry maximum per purchase. Drawings will be held every Friday (except December 22nd) with the final drawing taking place on December 26th.

The Holiday Open House will take place Thursday - Sunday at participating businesses throughout Decorah. Retailers will feature in-store specials and holiday festivities to kick off the holiday shopping season.
